2008-05-04 - New Undercover EP!
I am trying to get a limited edition EP ready for the Delerium tour with 4 brand new songs which will be on my full length cd coming out soon! These will be exclusive mixes and for the time being only a very small run of cd's will be pressed. In a few weeks, however, it should be online at iTunes and many other online sites. 2005-12-16 - New site design launched!

2005-10-20 - New website coming soon and possibly new Delerium tracks!
Check out the diary section on the site where Kristy mentions that the new site will be launching in the next few weeks and she is going to be starting work on a couple of new Delerium tracks.

2005-07-29 - New Kristy collaboration and details about upcoming show
Kristy has just finished her vocals for an artist called SLEEPTHIEF. Both Kristy and the Sleepthief crew are very happy with how things turned out. Fans of Delerium's Karma record will really like the Sleepthief/Kristy collabortation. The song will either be called SUBLUNAR or SAD ANGEL....not confirmed yet. According to the Sleepthief people the record should be out sometime this summer, but we will keep you posted on any news regarding that.

Also, Kristy's show time on August 15th at the Railway has been confirmed for 9:00 pm and the cost at the door is $6.00. What a deal!!! If you're in the area come out and hear many of Kristy's new songs stripped down in an intimate vibe.

2005-07-17 - Kristy at the Railway - August 15

Kristy will be performing a set at the Railway club in Vancouver on August 15.
This will be a more intimate performance with just her and her guitar players..Johnny Savella and Alex Rak. Apparantly this show is for a possible new booking agent to check out as well as a chance for Kristy to try out some new songs she has been working on. Set time TBA, check back in the calendar section for more info.

2005-07-04 - Website is back and check out the DIARY section for a new submission from Kristy!!

2005-03-23 - 9 shows confirmed for the U.S spring tour
Kristy, Enation, John Stephens of Neve/Geneius and Cary Judd will celebrate the end of the tour at the Joint in L.A.

2005-03-22 - Chico, California show confirmed!!
Make sure you keep checking the calendar for more dates on the West Coast Spring Tour. Chico California has just been confirmed and we expect the rest of the tour to be confirmed by the end of this week.

2005-03-16 - More dates confirmed for Kristy's Spring West Coast Tour!!!!

Make sure to check in with the Calendar section of this site as tour dates are being added every day. Two new dates in Eugene and Sacramento have now been added. More details about the shows, such as price and time will be added soon.

2005-01-27 - GM Place show will broadcast live on CTV!!!
Make sure to tune in to CTV on January 29 at 7 pm sharp to catch Delerium's set featuring Kristy at GM Place. The first song of the set and the entire show will be "Silence" sung by Sarah with Kristy covering the harmonies. Also, Kristy will join Sarah at the end of the night to sing "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" with her as the show closer. Don't miss this great even which will be broadcast live on CTV for your enjoyment.

2005-01-07 - Kristy will sing with Delerium as part of a Tsunami relief benefit at GM Place!!!!
Delerium is slated to play at GM Place on January 29 as part of a benefit for the Tsunami victims. The headlining acts at this event are Sarah McLachlan and Avril Lavigne. It's going to be a huge show and Kristy will be taking on the role of lead vocalist with Delerium for this show. Pack your bags and head out west, cause this will be a show of a lifetime!!

2005-01-05 - LIVE KRISTY SHOW BROADCAST!!!!
Sorry for the late notice, but we just found out that there will be a live broadcast of Kristy's show on January 6 at the Pit Pub in Vancouver. The show will be broadcast live on CITR 101.9 FM as well as on www.citr.ca at 10 pm sharp!!! Don't miss this rare opportunity. Rumour has it she will play a cool cover song and songs that do not appear on "Souvenir" as well as the songs from "Souvenir". Don't miss it!!!

2005-01-04 - SOUVENIR AVAILABLE AGAIN!!!
FINALLY!..............Kristy's debut cd, Souvenir, is available on the maplemusic site again. Just click on the link for merchandise on this site and it will take you there. Sorry for the wait. Now you can get those belated Christmas presents!!

2004-12-16 - "Souvenir" CDs Temporarily Sold Out!
Copies of Kristy's "Souvenir" CD have sold out, and due to a manufacturing problem, there aren't any new ones yet. While this is a flattering problem (and Kristy sends a big thank-you to everyone who has bought a copy!), it means that there will be a bit of a wait for anyone who doesn't have one yet.

We'd like to apologise to anyone who is trying to buy "Souvenir" right now. We appreciate your patience, and we will post a message here as soon as more stock is available!

2004-11-12 - UPDATE! Kristy's Song on JAG Friday, November 12
We just got UPDATED notification that Kristy's song "On The Border" will be featured in the November 12 episode of the TV series "JAG" on CBS. The show will be on at 9 PM PST, but check your local listings and watch/listen for Kristy!

The episode is called "One Big Boat" so if you miss it this week, you can always look for it in re-runs.

2004-10-15 - Check out Kristy on Fashion Television Tonight and November 17th!!!
Tune in to see a clip of Kristy's performance at the Fashion Rocks benefit concert, filmed on September 30th. It's Kristy in a wedding dress a la the Rose Chronicles days!

In addition to the live performances, Kristy did an interview with Fashion Television's "This Week in Fashion"

If you're in Vancouver, Canada, you can watch the show Sunday, November 17 at 3:30 and 11:30 pm on channel 13 (CityTV Vancouver).

The show will also be broadcast on CityTV Toronto. If you are outside of Vancouver, check your local listings and the Fashion TV website

2004-10-14 - Auralgasms Compilation CD "The Beat Of Dis-content".
Auralgasms (www.auralgasms.com) has just released a new compilation CD titled "The Beat Of Dis-content" featuring Kristy's song "Run Away." You can read a review of the CD here. They say nice things about Kristy too!

If you haven't already checked out the Auralgasms site lately, it's really worth a visit. It's an enormous, well-thought-out site that focuses on excellent artists that sometimes/somehow get overlooked.

2004-09-19 - Hear Kristy on your local radio station
Would you like to see Kristy and her band play in your city? "Over It" has also been sent out to every radio station we can think of across Canada...so start requesting it in your city! We'll be posting a list of stations that received the album soon. If your local station doesn't have it--please send an email and let us know!

2004-08-25 - "Over it" video in rotation at MuchMoreMusic--and you can see it by request!
Kristy's new video for "Over it" (The bonus track added on new run of the "Souvenir" CD) has been added in "optional rotation" at MuchMoreMusic (MuchMusic has the video too, but so far, they haven't played it).

You can request "Over It" at the MuchMoreMusic Top 10 page. Pick your ten favorite videos from the list, and let them know what you'd like to see!

The more requests MuchMoreMusic gets for the video, the more they will play it...which in turn may get it added to Much Music as well!

2004-06-02 - Kristy will play at NXNE in T.O. on June 12!!!!!!
If you live in the Toronto area, don't miss Kristy's performance at NXNE on June 12. Kristy and the band will be at the Drake hotel as part of a Maple Music night. Kristy's set time is 1:00 am....drink some coffee and stay up late so you can catch this rare T.O. performance!!!

2004-04-27 - Kristy and her band will debut in Victoria!!!
Kristy and her band will finally debut their musical stylings in Victoria, B.C. Don't miss this rare Victoria performance on May 12th at Steamers Pub on Yates St.

2004-04-09 - Kristy will play at the Media Club, April 17th!!!!

Don't miss Kristy and her band perform again at the Media Club on April 17th. Kristy will be joined by Mani Khaira and Kevin Kane from the Grapes of Wrath. Come one down, it's sure to be a great night!!!

2004-03-24 - Kristy's new video for "Run Away" will be featured on Urban Rush, March 24th!!

Be sure to tune in to Shaw cable network for an acoustic performance with Kristy and her bandmates, Adrian and Johnny, on Urban Rush at 5, 7, 11, and 1 a.m.!!! Kristy also does an interview with the witty hosts and previews her never seen before new video for "Run Away"....her first single. Tune in and tell your friends....oh, and don't forget to keep requesting "Run Away" at your local radio stations.

2004-03-16 - Phone Z95.3 and request "Run Away"....Kristy needs your help!!

O.K. Kristy fans...this is your chance to be hands on in the world domination of Kristy's music. We know this may take some time, but for now it will really help if everyone can call Z.95 in Vancouver and request "Run Away" , Kristy's first single off of "souvenir". The phone # for Z.95 is 604-280-9595. Call as much as you want and feel free to phone other radio stations where you are locally and ask them to play "Run Away" too. Radio support is very important for an artist especially on their debut record. With radio support comes tour support and that means Kristy and her band will be able to visit your town or city. If you do some requesting and get any feedback let Kristy know....she loves to hear from her fans and she loves finding out about support like that.

2004-03-09 - March 9th - Kristy's debut "souvenir" is available in stores!!!!

As of today Kristy's debut cd, souvenir, is available in stores across Canada. We know that many AandB sounds are carrying it, as well as Virgin Megastore, which features "souvenir" in a listening post. Spread the word so the cd's fly off the shelf and Kristy can visit you soon in your home town!! There will be a list of the stores that are carrying "souvenir" in the next few days.

2004-03-08 - Kristy's cd comes out tomorrow, March 9th!!!!!!!!!!

Get your running shoes on and run down to the nearest retailer that has Kristy's debut "souvenir". The reviews have been great so far and there are more to come. Tell all of your friends and foe's 'cause the more cd's that fly off the shelves, the better the chance of Kristy playing in your home town!!!

2004-02-16 - Kristy Perfomed on Mike Bullard and Canada A.M.!!!! Airing dates to be announced!!

Kristy had an amazing performance on the Mike Bullard show on February 11th. She was accomponied by Johnny Savella on guitar and Alex McMaster on cello. Mr. Bullard was so impressed he has invited Kristy back "again and again". You can be sure she will take him up on his offer. There was some confusion about the Canada A.M. taping. We were under the impression Kristy's performance would be aired on the day of taping but that was not the case. As soon as a date for the airing of the Canada A.M. and Toronto Show performances are confirmed we will announce it on the site. Stay tuned to find out more!!!!

2003-07-25 - Kristy is touring with Delrium in September!!!!!!
Yes, it's true, Kristy will be one of the two vocalists touring with Delerium in September. The tour dates are up on Pollstar.com but Kristy writes in the "diary" section of this site that they will soon be in the "calendar" section of the Kristy Thirsk web site.

2003-07-02 - Don't Miss Kristy's Vanvouver show!!!!!
Kristy will be playing with a full band at the Railway Club in Vancouver on Friday, July 18th! Don't miss her debut songs from her forthecoming solo release and possibly some golden oldies!

Also on the bill is Vanvouer singer, songwriter Mani Khaira and local band, The Panic! Be there or be rectangular!

2003-05-21 - Kristy Thirsk plays NewMusicWest 2003!!!
As apart of New Music West, Kristy and her band will be performing this Thursday May 22nd
@ THE TONIC CLUB (919 Granville St., Vancouver) 8pm sharp!

You will see two new additions that make-up her latest band line-up besides Johnny (guitar) and Squid (bass). Matt, originally from Toronto, will be layin' down the groove on drums while Johnny's friend Alex Rak will be on guitar adding vintage tone and increasing the total of pedals.

2003-04-27 - Kristy is performing in Hollywood!!!!
Kristy is in L.A. right now finishing the mixing for her album and while she is there she will be performing two acoustic shows!

You can see her perform at THE KNITTING FACTORY, Thursday May 1 @7:00 p.m. and at GENGHIS COHEN, Monday May 5 @9:30 p.m.

2002-11-13 - Kristy will play at Arts Club Backstage Lounge on November 24th.
Kristy, accomponied by long time guitar player Johnny Savella, will play a 30 minute set at the Backstage Lounge on Sunday, Novmeber 24th. This show is part of a benifit and silent auction being put on by Showcase Productions which hosts an "actors jam" night where various actors, writers and artists can showcase their talents from time to time. Come out and hear some songs featured on Kristy's upcoming release and also support the art community!
